Description
Copper Beeches is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of squared, coursed limestone with a brick front in Flemish bond and limestone dressings. It features a slate roof with brick end stacks and stands three storeys high with a three-window range. The central entrance has a three-panelled door with an overlight that includes decorative glazing forming a fan shape. This is framed by a moulded architrave and a Doric porch. On either side of the entrance are canted bays with 15-pane sash windows. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows on the left and right, with a 12-pane sash window in the centre, which includes margin lights. The second floor features three nine-pane sashes, all of which have moulded stone architraves. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century range with a stone slate roof, and the windows have flat and round-headed arches. The interior has not been inspected.
