Description
The Vicarage is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Main Street in Newbold-on-Avon. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped tiled roof. The southeast garden front has five sash windows with glazing bars set under flat arches. A central 19th-century porch with a pediment and trellis adds to its character. The building is two storeys high with attics. The entrance front has been altered in the 19th century, showcasing a tall central round-headed staircase window with glazing bars. Other windows have also been modified in the 19th century to include flush two-light casements with wooden mullions and transoms. The 19th-century stucco door surround features a pediment and frieze supported by heavy consoles. To the left, there is a modern single-storey wing with three windows, while to the right is a two-storey wing made of pale red brick, which includes a stucco canted bay.
