Description

This sundial, located approximately 2 meters west of the tower of the Church of St. Giles, is likely from the 19th century and is made of sandstone. It features two circular steps and an octagonal shaft topped with a large moulded capital. The copper plate on the sundial is inscribed with "Cort and Co. Leicester." It is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby church.
