Description
Collings Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates back to the 17th century but was largely rebuilt in the mid-19th century. The structure is timber-framed with brick infill panels and is mostly rebuilt in red brick. It features a plain tile roof and brick integral end stacks. The building has two storeys and includes one segmental-headed casement window on each storey, with the upper window having a gable above it. To the right, there is a single-storey, single-bay extension wing that has one segmental-headed casement window and a plank door to the left, which is accompanied by a gabled porch. The left-hand return of the building has a small casement window with Gothic glazing bars. The rear of the farmhouse displays exposed framing with two tiers of square panels on the upper storey, and it also features casements with Gothic glazing bars. There is a single-storey rear wing. The interior has not been inspected.
