Description

Peddimore Hall is a house, dating to the mid-17th century, and possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is built of stone dressings with red brick and has a tiled roof. The house is two storeys high and features 19th-century windows; some original 17th-century windows retain mullions and transoms, though some are now blocked. A stone pedimented doorway is inscribed with "Deus Noster Refugium". An earlier house on the same site was once owned by the Arden family, from around 1281 until after 1619.
