Description
Bodymoor Heath Bridge is a canal bridge built around the early 19th century, with repairs made in the 20th century. It is constructed from over-burnt brick and features ashlar dressings. The bridge has a single segmental arch that includes keystones and a string course above. The parapet walls are curved and topped with stone coping, while the square end piers have stone caps. On the southeast side, there is a stone abutment, and the remaining abutments are made of brick. This bridge is part of a series of bridges along the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
