Description
The curtain walls and gateway at Kingsbury Hall date back to the 14th century and are constructed from regularly coursed sandstone. The east wall measures approximately 30 meters in length, including the gateway, and stands between 4 and 5.5 meters high. The gateway, which may have been rebuilt, features a chamfered arch. To the south-east angle, there are remains of a semi-octagonal tower, along with another wall that extends approximately 22 meters to the west. Additionally, there is a lower, ruinous wall about 10 meters long running south of the tower, which includes a brick pointed arched doorway. These walls are remnants of a castle or fortified house and are scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
