Description
This is a canal lock located approximately 3 meters south of Cheatle's Farm Bridge on the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of English bond brick and features sandstone ashlar coping, although much of this has been replaced with concrete. The lock has single gates, and the east wall extends to Cheatle's Farm Bridge. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
