Description

Eaves Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed, dressed, and squared stone, with gables rebuilt in brick. The roof is tiled, featuring verge parapets with pitched copings and corbelled kneelers. A large central ridge stack rises from the roof. The two-storey, two-window front sits on a plinth and features casement windows. The ground floor has two windows, their reveals being chamfered, a feature of the original 17th-century construction. The entrance is located in a lower brick addition of one window to the left end; it may have originally been positioned in the gable.
