Description
This is a Dutch barn located approximately 150 meters north of Heath House, likely built in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with dressed stone and features shouldered set-ins, topped with a tiled roof. The barn is tall and consists of five bays, supported by slim piers that have three stages each, positioned on the outer sides towards the eaves. The end gables have deeper piers and a Gothic arch that opens to full height. The roof structure includes a diagonal-braced shouldered king post and tie beam, with two purlins. This barn is an unusual building type situated within a complete country house complex.
