9/136 Planting trough to Orangery approx. 200m N.E. of Heath House

GV II

One of a pair of planting troughs. Circa 1830 by James Trubshaw. Stone. The trough is cusped quatrefoil form with five circular basins cut into the top face of a low moulded plinth section. A pair set either side of Orangery (qv) and forming part of a formal garden group.
