Description

Ingle Nook and Ingle Nook Cottage are two tenements that form a continuous range, likely dating from the late 16th century. The buildings are timber framed with brick infilling, finished with a colourwashed exterior and topped with a thatched roof. They feature brick stacks and stand two storeys tall, with casement windows, some of which have leaded lights. The upper windows are adorned with eyebrow heads in thatch, and the front has six windows. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams, and one room includes panelling and an open fireplace with a moulded wood surround.
