Description

Trent Lodge is a single-storey entrance lodge built in 1859, located in Shugborough Park. The building is constructed of coursed rough finished ashlar with smooth ashlar dressings and features a chalet-type roof. A projecting square bay contains a Venetian window with sash frames and no glazing bars. Above the bay is a shield of arms that displays the date 1859. To the right of the bay, there is a round-arched projecting porch that is set at right angles to the front of the lodge. The roof is covered with Roman tiles, and the chimneys have cornices supported by brackets.
