Description

Brook House is a building of 17th century origin that has undergone significant alterations. It features early 19th century brickwork added to an earlier timber frame, which is now largely exposed at the rear and includes herring-bone brick infill. The house is one storey plus an attic. The front is made of painted brick and has three 3-light casement windows with cambered heads. There is a blocked doorway that has a later 19th century rustic gabled porch, along with three dormers that break above the eaves. The roof is covered with asbestos slates, and there is a modern bay window on the left-hand side.
