Description

The stabling at Tixall is an early 19th-century structure that remains despite the disappearance of the Tudor and Georgian houses nearby. It is built on a curve and constructed from ashlar with a slate roof. The central part of the building is two storeys high and features a Gothic portico and embattled parapets. At each end, there are two-storey embattled towers. The building also includes stone mullioned windows.
