Description
The gates, gate standards, and side screens fronting the north facade of Sandon Hall date from the early 18th century. They consist of a pair of fine wrought iron gates hung on openwork standards with an overthrow. These gates were likely made in Gloucestershire and are attributed to the work of William Edney. They were relocated to this site from Burnt Norton, Gloucestershire, around 1900 by the Fifth Earl of Harrowby. The side screens are modern replicas.
