Description

Trentham Tower, built around 1840, was designed by Sir Charles Barry. It is the upper part of a square tower that was originally part of Trentham Hall, which was demolished between 1910 and 1912. The tower is constructed of ashlar stone on a plastered brick base. Each side features three round-headed arches, which are supported by engaged Corinthian columns and an entablature. The tower is topped with an open balustrade and urn finials.
