Description
The Former Dukes Head Public House is a building dating from the 18th century, featuring a painted range with a thatched roof, which may have an earlier core. It has a gable and ornate bargeboards from the late 19th century. The structure is two stories high and has three window openings, with casements present. Notably, there are "eyebrow" eaves over one of the first-floor windows. The building includes two moulded doorcases, one of which has a flat hood supported by brackets. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century canted bay window alongside a small modern shop front. A brick chimney stack is located at the ridge, with another later brick stack rising from the front wall.
