Description

No. 25A Newport Street is a cottage that dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is timber framed with tall panels and long tension braces, topped with a clay tile roof and featuring a brick stack. The cottage was originally two bays, but the west bay was demolished in 1970. It is a single storey building with a door located at the gable end. This property forms a group with No. 2 School Road.
