Description

The dam at the south-west end of Wodehouse Mill Pool is an 18th-century structure built of ashlar. It features nine semi-circular arches with rusticated voussoirs and raised keys, which are flanked by pilaster buttresses. The dam has a moulded parapet string and a plain coped parapet. It serves to terminate Wodehouse Mill Pool to the south-west and acts as a causeway for the main drive to The Wodehouse.
