Description

Chantry Cottage, probably originally a coach house, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The two-storey, two-window front has sixteen-pane glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, and casement windows on the first floor, all with stone lintels. There are two panelled doors, and a blocked carriage arch is visible to the left. The cottage is considered to have group value when viewed alongside No. 6 Dean Street.
