Description
Warren Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with an addition from the early to mid-19th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and roofs made of plain tiles and interlocking concrete tiles. There is a brick ridge stack and an internal lateral stack. The 17th-century wing is aligned northeast to southwest and faces southwest, while the 19th-century range is attached to the northwest and southeast, also facing southwest.
The 19th-century range on the left is two stories tall, while the slightly lower gabled 17th-century wing on the right has one story and an attic, with a jettied upper storey. The windows are arranged in a 2:1 pattern and feature glazing bar casements. The first-floor windows of the 19th-century range are gabled, and the 17th-century wing has three square panels at the eaves with straight braces. The first floor of the 19th-century range also has two square panels at the eaves with straight braces, all showcasing slight framing. There is a boarded and battened door located to the right.
