Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some minor alterations from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges and brick valley stacks. The building consists of two parallel ranges that are aligned northeast to southwest and face southeast. It has two storeys and an attic, with storey bands and an eaves band. There are four windows, which are glazing bar casements topped with gauged brick heads, and two gabled attic dormers. The main entrance is located at the left-hand gable.
