Description

The gate piers, gates, and adjoining walls at Giffard Cross date from the 18th century and are located between the Upper Avenue and the Lower Avenue of Chillington Park. There are four rusticated ashlar piers topped with ball ornaments, which flank a central double gate and two single outer gates. The structure includes ashlar walls on both the left and right sides, along with cast iron gates.
