Description

The Bowker Memorial is a pedestal tomb located 3 meters west of the south porch of the Church of St. John. It commemorates Thomas Bowker, who died in 1817. The tomb is made of stone and features a moulded plinth that supports an inscribed die. Above this is a moulded surbase, which is topped by an urn that has a gadrooned base and a reeded rim.
