Description
The walls, steps, and gatepiers framing the Italian Garden immediately to the east of Stretton Hall date from the mid-19th century. The structure features four sets of stone steps within a square enclosure, which is flanked by stone piers, two of which are topped with urns. The piers have gadrooned bases and egg and dart rims. The perimeter wall includes two entrances next to the garden front of the house, with piers and urns as previously described. The outer wall is made of pierced patterned Roman tile work with stone coping.
