Description

The Church of St. John, built in 1850 by G.T. Robinson, is located on Kiddermore Green Road in Bishop's Wood. This church is constructed of red sandstone and features a clay tile roof adorned with fishscale bands and raised verges. It exhibits a simple lancet style with a nave consisting of four bays separated by buttresses. The building has a cruciform plan with a short chancel and includes a southwest tower porch topped with a pyramidal roof. The east end and transept gables are decorated with graded lancets.
