Description

Shifford's Bridge is a bridge, likely built in the early 19th century, constructed from sandstone ashlar. It features a wide segmental arch with a projecting keystone on the north side, a flat string course, and curved ends on the south side. The bridge spans the River Tern, which serves as the county boundary between Shropshire and Staffordshire.
