Description

Berrisford Bridge is a bridge dated 1791, constructed from dressed red sandstone with a brick soffit. It features a segmental arch made of voussoirs and a raised keystone, with the upstream keystone inscribed with "W.M / 1791". The bridge has plain parapets and carries a minor road across the River Tern. It was built through local subscription to replace a ford and a wooden footbridge.
