Description
The Old Beerhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and sections that have been replaced. The roof is tiled, and there is a stack at the rear. The building is single storey with a dormer-lit attic, and it has two widely spaced 20th-century gabled dormers above a three-bay frame consisting of square panels. There are diagonal braces to the left of the bay divisions, which are set under the eaves. The left-hand bay has been replaced with brickwork and contains 20th-century casements set between the frame members; this brick bay has two windows. To the right, there is a mid-19th-century casement with a segmental head. The entrance is located to the right of the central bay and features a 20th-century glazed door. The timber frame extends to the sides of the building.
