Description
Old College House is a house, later converted into three flats, dating from around 1800, with alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with a hipped tile roof and brick return lateral stacks. It follows a double-depth plan and is in a Georgian style. The house is three storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with three windows. A top brick frieze is present. A late 20th-century entrance replaces an earlier 20th-century one; the entrance features a doorcase with pilasters and a bracketed hood, sidelights, and an overlight above a 6-fielded-panel door. Windows have sills and rubbed brick flat arches over 16-panel, horned sashes, with 6 panes to the second floor. Casements are found on the returns, and at the rear there is a hipped projection with casements. The central windows were originally blind, with painted sashes.
