Description

Manor Farmhouse and the attached stable are a farmhouse and stable built in the late 18th century, with a mid-19th century addition. The buildings are constructed of red brick and have slate roofs, featuring brick integral end stacks and a ridge stack. The main range from the 19th century is aligned east-west and faces south, while the 18th-century wing is attached to the west and aligned north-south, with an early 19th-century stable attached to the south, also facing west.

The south elevation shows a two-storey main range with a dentilled eaves band and three windows that are casements with segmental heads. There are two six-panelled doors with fanlights that have radiating glazing bars. To the left, a single bay of the 18th-century wing projects forward at right angles to the main house, featuring casements with segmental heads and a continuous dripstone band. The stable continues the line of the wing.

On the west elevation, the 18th-century wing is on the left and the stable is on the right. The 18th-century wing has three storeys and slightly irregular fenestration, roughly three bays wide, with casements that have segmental heads and dripstone bands, including a full-height stair window to the left of centre. The stable is two storeys high with dentilled eaves and was originally a two-bay building with a central stable-type door, segmental-headed windows on both floors, and first-floor windows with wooden lintels. There is a single-bay extension to the right with a central segmental-headed door and a rectangular loft door directly above.
