Description
Malt House Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with a later rear wing, located on Bellamour Way in Colton. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring a sandstone plinth and dressings, and has a plain tile roof with a central brick stack and an external end stack. The main range has a baffle-entry plan and a T-shaped layout due to the rear wing. It stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic, and includes a first-floor band and eaves band. The front has four windows, which are casements with keyed lintels. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door located in front of the stack, topped by a bracketed hood. The interior has not been inspected but may hold interest.
