Description

Dovecliffe is a large house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a stone band at the first floor level, along with a cornice blocking course and a hipped Westmorland slate roof with central stacks. The building is two stories high and has a five-window front with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance is pedimented and surrounded by rusticated stone, topped with a radial fanlight above part-glazed double doors. The garden front includes a three-sided bay, while the side elevation features a pedimented single-storey porch.
