Description

The Statue of Michael Arthur Bass, located in King Edward Place, was erected in 1911. It commemorates the 1st Baron Burton, who lived from 1837 to 1909, and was created by the sculptor F. W. Pomeroy. The statue is a conventional life-sized bronze figure set on a stone plinth.
