Description
This barn and stables, located approximately 20 yards northeast of Nook Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is built of coursed and squared stone, topped with a plain tile roof that features coped verges on rounded kneelers. It has two levels with chamfered eaves and consists of four bays. The upper level has three openings, with the outer ones serving as windows and the central one as a pitching hatch. On the ground floor, there are seven openings, including one that is blocked, four windows, and two stable doorways. An attached lower stable wing on the right side contains three stable doors and three cantilevered basins.
