Description

A statue and sundial, dating from 1741, are located approximately 30 yards north of Okeover Hall. The statue, created by John Cheere, features a lead figure of a blackamoor holding a sundial above his head, positioned on octagonal stone steps. This piece was supplied to Leak Okeover, the builder of Okeover Hall.
