Description
Old Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof with a broad soffit and six brick ridge stacks. The building has a T-shaped plan, with the front elevation consisting of two storeys and three windows. The windows are glazing bar sashes, and there is a central entrance located in a single-storey hipped porch. The porch is accented by pilaster breaks at the angles, and the entrance door is a four-panel design with an overlight above.
At the rear, which faces the farmyard, there is a wing that includes five small-pane top-hung casement windows and three ground floor entrances, likely intended for staff use. The farmhouse was constructed as part of a model farm complex associated with Dunstall Hall.
