Description
Cedar Lodge, also known as the Cedar Tree Guest House, is a Regency-style building with a probable 18th-century core. The building is constructed of stucco and stands five storeys high, featuring two convex bays over two storeys. Each bay has one sash window at the top, and a three-light sash window below, all contained within moulded wooden frames, creating a total of three windows per bay. A band runs around the tops of the bays, which are topped with wrought iron balconettes. The building has a stuccoed cornice and dentilled plaster eaves, finished with slate roofing. A doorcase is formed with Tuscan columns and a hood, while the eaves are dentilled.
