Description

No. 78 Bower Yard is an early 19th-century cottage that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and features one storey with an attic. The cottage has casement windows with segmental heads, and there is a rectangular oriel window on the right-hand side. Three gabled dormers break below the eaves, and there is a modern doorway with a wooden porch. The roof is gable-ended and covered with tiles.
