Description
Nos. 4, 5, and 6 Winton Square are office premises that were originally built as a group of three houses in 1848, as part of the development of Stoke Station. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature plain tiled roofs. They are two storeys high and have an L-shaped plan, with the main range consisting of six bays facing northwest and a shorter range of two bays facing southwest. There is a porch located at the angle of the two ranges, along with another doorway in the longer range. The buildings have mullioned windows with hood moulds, and there are two Dutch gables on the long elevation as well as over the shorter range. An advanced Dutch gable and three bays, which include another doorway and additional mullioned windows, face Station Road.
