Description

The former Smithfield Pottery and bottle oven, built in 1880, is located on Warner Street in Hanley, Stoke on Trent. This structure features brick construction with a plain tiled roof. It includes a two-storey workshop range to the south, which has fixed light casements with blue brick cambered heads, some of which have been renewed. There is also an upper loading door in the gable. To the north, the kiln is connected and features an elongated short-necked hovel. A further range to the east has since been demolished.
