Description
Nos 54 to 57 on Cartway is a simple range of buildings dating from the 17th century and later, constructed from painted brick. The structure has two storeys and features large windows on the ground floor that were originally designed for Huguenot weavers. It includes five mullioned and transomed windows and four gabled dormers, all under a tiled roof. This group of buildings, which also includes Nos 51 to 68, forms a cohesive architectural ensemble with Nos 40 to 42 on River Side.
