Description

Fulwood House, also known as the Ellesmere Branch Library, is an early 19th-century building located on Victoria Street. It is constructed of stucco and features three storeys. The façade includes three sash windows with channelled lintels and two windows with rusticated arches on the ground floor. A stuccoed Roman Doric cornice hood porch leads to a plain doorway that has a modern door. Above the upper storeys, there is a rusticated arched centerpiece, and a band runs along the first storey. The sides of the building are accented with quoins. To the left, there is a later addition, a two-storey stuccoed wing with a single window.
