Description

This is a mid-18th century building, originally a pair of houses and now comprising three dwellings, with a probable earlier core. The brick construction is topped with a plain tiled roof, and timber framing is visible at the rear. The building has two storeys and attic dormers, with a five-window front. Numbers 116 and 117 form a single house to the left. A central doorway is topped with a single segmental arch, flanked by four-pane sash windows with flat-arched, gauged brick detailing on both floors. A blind window sits above the door. Coped gable and end wall stacks are present. Number 118 was built separately to the right. Its central door features a traceried overlight within a case with a reeded architrave and console brackets to the canopy, with panelled rebates. This is flanked by twelve-pane sash windows with flat-arched, gauged brick detailing. Three sash windows are above. An axial stack is also present. Number 116 was separately listed on December 4, 1973.
