Description

Birch Farm House is an early 18th century brick house of considerable appeal, featuring stone dressings and a hipped tiled roof. It is two storeys high with an attic, and has seven sash windows, each with ashlar surrounds and keyblocks. Flat stringcourses run along the facade, and a wooden bracketed hood shelters the front door. Rusticated quoins are also present. A lower wing extends from the rear. The building has large lateral brick stacks.
