Description

This is an 18th-century red brick house located on the north side of Noble Street. It has a Welsh-slate roof, with stone coping on one gable end, and a moulded stone eaves cornice. The front elevation features giant brick pilasters on either side. A brick string course runs along the first floor level. The house is two storeys high with three bays. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars. A central doorway is topped by a 19th-century panelled architrave and a hood supported by brackets. Brick chimney stacks rise from the gable ends. The building is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
