Description
The Hall is a farmhouse located on the south side of The Causeway in Bucknell, dating from the early 19th century with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with integral end stacks on both the left and right. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys with a dentilled eaves cornice. There are three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with gauged heads. The central entrance consists of a flush six-panel door set within a round-headed arch, topped by a wreathed and radiating fanlight. A flat-roofed porch was added in the late 20th century. Inside, there is a 19th-century oak staircase located at the rear of the entrance hall, featuring stick balusters and an open string, illuminated by a pyramidal lantern above.
