Description

This is a group of five coffin slabs located approximately one metre south of the nave of the Church of St Eata. They likely date from the 14th century and are made of grey sandstone. The second slab from the north features an incised Celtic cross and a reeded edge, while the fourth slab has a raised cross and a rebated edge. The southernmost slab also has a raised cross but with rounded corners.
