Description

The Almshouses were founded in 1621 and were relocated from their original site about three hundred yards away, being rebuilt in 1816. The building is constructed of red brick and is a single-storey structure. It originally featured six stone mullioned windows, which have now been replaced with modern steel casement windows. There are three plain brick stacks, and the roof is tiled. The interior has been recently modernised.
